Choosing wooden kitchen furniture, we actually have many options to choose from. Wood, as we know, is a very universal and above all natural material. Furthermore, this type of kitchen will serve us for years, and if we even get bored of it, we can always change its appearance by changing handles or coloring.
Wooden furniture looks noble, elegant, and gives the interior a cozy atmosphere. When designing, we can choose classic wooden kitchens or those in a modern style.
From what material should we choose kitchen furniture?
Everything depends on the funds we have, as well as what effect we want to achieve. Whether we want the kitchen to form one sheet (Fig. 1), or if we are aiming for diversity.

Among the options we offer, you can choose kitchen furniture made of solid oak or pine wood, MDF, plywood, or veneer. We also offer furniture that has only a pine wooden frame with MDF inside, or an oak frame with plywood and veneer. This is an alternative between solid wood and MDF board.
However, when it comes to kitchen cabinet bodies, i.e., the skeleton of the entire kitchen set – we have oak, pine, furniture board, plywood + veneer, or MDF to choose from. Thus, everyone will find something for themselves.
A wooden kitchen is very universal, moreover, we can combine it with many materials. First, let’s focus on what to put on the surface between the cabinets and the kitchen countertop?
We can finish the wall with glass, stone, tiles, brick, laminated board, etc., depending on what effect and texture we want to achieve.
This is a frequently asked question by our Clients. There is no single universal rule. Most often we focus on practicality and aesthetics, so it is worth choosing the most reliable gray or beige tiles. The best are those that do not have a uniform coloring, because streaks and dirt will not be visible on them.
If we decide on wood flooring, it will also look great with a wooden kitchen, and should not be problematic in use.
The key element is the handles we choose, because they can change our kitchen drastically. They must primarily be chosen to match the general decor we plan. It is also worth paying attention to the functional aspect, so that using our kitchen is comfortable. If we want the kitchen to be timeless and look elegant, we should choose solid wood. It is also worth opting for decorative carvings, i.e., carvings in wood, because this gives the kitchen unique aesthetic values and makes it look very stylish.
Exclusive furniture is usually massive, so we must also consider that it will be heavy. However, such kitchens can last for generations. They can always be restored after years and returned to former glory.
We make them from noble wood species such as oak – characterized by a warm, light brown shade, or mahogany – having a reddish-brown color.
As we mentioned, everything depends on what materials we use. Therefore, the most expensive furniture will be made of solid oak or pine wood. Such furniture is timeless, so its price must be adequate.
But we also have many options, if we want the price of the furniture to be lower, we can always choose cabinet bodies (i.e., the skeleton of our furniture – what is not visible) from a material other than wood. For example, a furniture board, plywood + veneer, or MDF. We actually have many options and will choose something for every pocket. If we are counting on cheap wooden kitchen furniture – unfortunately, there is no possibility for it to be made of wood.
The price of kitchen furniture consists not only of the cost of the material used for production – i.e., wood, MDF, plywood, or veneer, but also the work of measurements and visualization creation.
The work of the carpenter, who spends many hours on selecting the material used for production, processing using specialized machines, assembly in the workshop – to check if everything looks and fits together properly. Then the furniture is disassembled and delivered to the customer for assembly. Additional elements –drawers, hinges, handles etc. also influence the price of kitchen furniture.
It is worth choosing furniture that will fit our kitchen perfectly. Because a properly measured room gives us more room for maneuver. There is no talk of unfilled gaps in the kitchen, which can sometimes happen if we choose ready-made furniture.
We can define the size, type, and number of cabinets or drawers ourselves. Initially, measurements must be taken and the furniture adapted to the size of the room or layout. Additionally, when designing every kitchen, we pay close attention to ergonomics, i.e., the division of the interior into 5 zones (cooking/baking, preparation, washing, storage, and storage zone).
White-wood kitchen furniture? Gray-wood? Or maybe black-wood? Or maybe some wooden fronts (top or bottom), and the other part of the kitchen is white or black? – we have many options to choose from.
