When designing a kitchen, we often don’t immediately plan what exactly we will store in a given cabinet – what kind of solutions to apply in the kitchen?
Undoubtedly, a good practice is to define this right away when planning the kitchen. Then we know where we will store pots, cutlery, containers, spices, etc. Furthermore, it is easier for us to plan this immediately. Moreover, we can then take advantage of the ready-made solutions offered by producers (Blum, Peka, Hafele), so it is worth getting to know them beforehand.
It’s a clever solution to fully utilize the corner of our kitchen unit while having easy access to things stored there. Furthermore – often the corner of kitchen furniture is not fully utilized. The advantage is that we can open the drawer by grabbing only one side; we don’t have to use both hands to do it.

It is often associated with narrow spice drawers. However, we currently have a growing selection of wider base units – from 15 to even 60cm. We can store cutting boards, oils, knives, bowls, bottles, jars, and even countertops or baking sheets in them.
Designed for mounting in tall cabinets, it functions as a home pantry function. Spacious and providing excellent access to stored products. In addition, it has high load capacity and bearing capacity.
Meaning “drawer in a drawer”. It is a perfect idea for utilizing the upper part of a large drawer. Moreover, it is often unused because there are not very tall items in it. We can install it in all drawers, but it works best in upper drawers. We can store cutlery, kitchen utensils, aluminum foil, baking paper, etc. The dimensions of such a drawer are 8-10cm.
This is a way to brilliantly utilize space in the lower part of our furniture. The solution works in small kitchens, where every space is precious. Interestingly, besides storage, the base can also serve as a stand, which significantly makes it easier to reach higher cabinets in our kitchen.
This is a type of drawer in the shape of the letter U, which allows us to utilize the unused space on the right and left sides of the sink. Additionally, there will be space there for cleaning agents such as sponges, dishwashing liquid, or dishwasher tablets.
They can be made of aluminum, wood, or plastic. They can also be opened from the side, top, and bottom. They are most often used for storing kitchen equipment like coffee machine or food processor.
These are dividers and containers that help organize space in our drawers. They will help us better utilize the space and store much more stuff. Additionally, they will make it much easier to find anything in the kitchen, because everything will be in its place.
Due to the necessity of waste sorting, it is worth allocating appropriate space in the kitchen for bins. We have various sizes and segregation container systems available. Sorting containers provide quick access and easy emptying. We have bins that attach to the cabinet front and those placed in a drawer.
This solution is used in corner cabinets; swivel baskets allow maximum utilization of space, but they also make dishes or other products always easily accessible to the household.
This is an interesting solution in the kitchen if, for example, we did not think about preparing the electrical installation in the kitchen beforehand. Nevertheless, these types of outlets are installed in the kitchen countertop, remaining inconspicuous, and fulfill their function. There are also hidden vertical electrical extensions. From the top they have a cover.
This is another practical solution that works well in a small kitchen. Moreover, it can serve as an extension of the working countertop or an additional table when needed. Interestingly, we can also store a special folding ironing board there.
